Default Access 12 volt power?

I have an external 12 volt accessory that draws approx. 10 amps max via two small (+ fused) squeeze clips, Is there an easy/obvious location under the hood OR do I have to access the battery in the rear?

There is an accessory power location available under a plastic cover attached at the rear of the front fuse box (between the fusebox and the firewall). Many people use a threaded stud just in front of the alternator for a ground.

There is no fuse on that cable since its providing all the power to the fuse block. If you run an accessory off that, make sure you add a fuse to the wire.

Appreciate the warning, my + line is fused right off the clip. Lighter socket not an option since I am using clips which is why I need to go underhood or battery.
