Default Brakes question

I recently purchased a 2014 base C7 that has the bigger brakes, similar to the Z51s (Maybe the same) but I know the rotors are smaller than the Z51's. I've already gone CF crazy and have new 19/20 wheels being made. So I want to go with slotted and /or drilled rotors and wonder what are my options. Can I somehow move the calipers out and go with Z51 size rotors? Honestly, this is my street car and won't see track use (I have my FFR 818R for that).

Not sure exactly what that brake set-up would be, unless the previous owner mixed and matched a set of Frankenbrakes. The Z51 rotors will fit fine in 19 and 20 inch wheels. You should be able to get a set of Z51 rotors from some one on here swapping out to a more race-oriented set. Once you have the Z51 rotors and calipers all you really need is low dust pads for street use, and the best are Carbotech 1521's.

When I get a chance, I'll pull off a front wheel and take a picture to show you. The calipers look the same as my friends Z51 but his rotors are larger. I saw a base C7 corvette a ways back that had the tiny brake calipers on it. These that I have look identicle to what I had on my Camaro SS and my GTM-X

The Caliper is pretty much the same between the Z51 and base they take the same pad shape. The z51 rotors are bigger I don't know if they will bolt right up though. If you decide to change pads I can help you with that.
