Default Anyone else prefer Performance Section separate from Tech?

I would love to see this section separated from tech/what's wrong with my car/vendors posting for sell.

I typically browse this section about 95% of the time and find I am sifting through vendor post trying to sell stuff and people asking what's wrong with their car when the car is fully stock and under warranty. I think there should be a section for just that (there already is for vendors).

I would ask to have the vendors stay on the vendors section. For the sale threads

Agreed for commercial aspects expect if they are giving tip or responding to a performance/ technical question.

I've been reading the source code for the HMI modules and I want to post my findings which are very technical and would get drowned out in the General area, but if I post it here I'll get drowned out by "performance" stuff...

True this ! It would unclutter things big time. The rules of engagement have changed though as regards vendor advertising. Because they in truth are a major funding source for the forum, they are allowed to list sales over all sections of the forum.

Isn't this what you are looking for on the forum? It has been in place for a lot of years. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-and-tires-6/

We need a dedicated detailing sub forum as well. The Challenger forum I belong to has one and lots of very good info passed along there.

There is a dedicated detail section. Just not in the C7 forum section.
