No you don't need it on the sleeves it don't work that way.., Plus like the guy told you on the better parts on a 416. I would for sure go this way & to trust GM stuff on running 800 rwhp in the block for no more than it cost .. Robert
need more info about the 416 stocker and what is the part that i will have to add, would it be a daily ? any issues with temp ?

Give, Jason 98 TA that did a post in here a message he works at TX speed & perf. They build the short block r can do you a long block with cam & heads also. yes it can be a daily driver, no more of a issue with temps than you have now with the car.
You can get about any parts you need from them... Great guys.

It's the best there is right now but you will still need meth injection. There's no way around it on these DI cars.
I really haven't seen any other solutions either. Just such a tight window to spray fuel and requires a lot of pressure already. Wonder if heads could be fashioned to hold two injectors per cylinder. Of course it would take a huge understanding of the proper spray pattern.
That is part of why we all are in here for man to help each other r give help in a way for you to go on a build without wasting more time r money. Robert

i think just a port injection setup added on the intake manifold would be great. the new Ford GT and Raptor EcoBoost motors I believe are going to be hybrid port/direct injection motors......
Ford is kicking GM's *** in this regard. Honestly I wish I had left my C7 naturally aspirated and put a twin turbo on my 2016 Mustang GT instead. They are getting 850-900 rwhp on stock motors with just a fuel system upgrade. Doh!!

I'm also frustrated with the fuel system and will be going back to NA at some point.
I have had a few ideas to add fueling to these cars with boost....
One idea is to run a secondary pump built on a Hobbs switch so it activates only when in boost... Tap each port on the intake/cylinder head with a no maintenance type nozzle, be trouble free and pull fuel from the tank only when needed.... Be easy to setup and no rely on a separate controller...
It can be done and it's not a really big deal, just not without relying on meth and what happens when the meth pump fails?
I sure wish Injector Dynamics would make a big fat DI injector.
Wouldn't we need a solution on the low pressure side also Higgs? Just for more volume? Or maybe. BAP on the low pressure side with the lt4 HPP and bigger ID injectors? Something along those lines?

Normally yea!!! But Higgs has an aftermarket low pressure secondary pump, so that's not an issue for him, injector flow is his problem....

Correct....and here's the fun part. I have a stock cam lobe.
It makes me wonder if a cam lobe is really even necessary if we need meth before we ever run out of hpfp?
What low pressure secondary system do you run Higgs? Is it in tank or what?
Joe@CPR in Arizona put an in line kit together for me and it definitely does the job. I could run full E85 if it wasn't for the LT4 injectors being too small.
