2016 Stingray Grille
I just bought a 2016 1LT Stingray. I have the opportunity to purchase a new grille for a 2016 that includes the 2 cameras. Does anyone know how difficult it is to install and whether the wiring is already there and set up for the cameras?

I could swear I answered this question yesterday, but don't see it anywhere. Oh, well.
It's very doubtful that the wiring for the cameras is there. In general, the wiring harness only includes what is needed for the installed options. A better question might be whether the connectors for the wires from the cameras are there, and that's a questions I can't answer.
Even if the wiring can be added easily, it's unlikely the software for a non-existent component has been installed. For example, cars without the PDR don't have that option available, and cars without the performance exhaust don't have the software to control the valves in the exhaust. One owner wanted to update his car to the NPP exhaust after the fact, and the dealer told him GM would not provide the software. I can understand why: GM tests the software as a unit, and making partial updates that add some functions and not others could break the whole thing.
To get the software, you'd probably have to buy the complete 2016 2LT HMI unit, and replace the 1LT version. I recall there was one company that was working on this upgrade for 2014 / 15 cars, but I've not seen it offered for sale. I do recall it was going to be very expensive.
There is a third party vendor which claims to have a product that will allow users to add a single front camera (and side view cameras), as well as mirroring your phone's screen to the infotainment screen. This is intended for 14 / 15 model C7s, so I have no idea if it would work with the 2016.
Here are the threads about the product. They've already missed several projected and one "firm" ship date, so many of us wonder if it will ship at all. But you can ask them if it will work with a 2016 1LT.
