My buddies C6Z had a spring failure from TSP. I think TSP has some good stuff to offer but i think the springs arent the most solid setup from them. I would HOPE TSP covers all the costs for u man, if they do then thats a good sign of a stand up company.

^Thanks for sharing!
UPDATE:
Minor damage on the piston - repairable.
TSP asked us to send the heads back for examination and replacement. They also offered to install better valve springs if necessary. My builder wants to have PAC 1521 springs installed. I do not want the same springs installed.
I'm very happy with their offer to assist. If they could include head studs & gaskets, then I'd only be out labor from my local shop. What would be reasonable to expect?

I had a spring failure on multiple dual TSP springs on some ported heads several years back, dumped those and went to PAC 1518 with .620 lift and never had an issue since. The "beehive" elliptical wire setup on the PAC's is similar to stock springs that last 100's of thousands of miles with NO ISSUES. I'm convinced that duals will get pinched and coil bind at high rpm, or if the inners fail, they cause the outers to fail (as I had happen).
My redline was set to a conservative 6300 on my LS1 at the time and the springs failed.
Any cams I do in the future will be with PAC springs for sure.
