LT4's are hand assembled at BG for the Z07 models.
That doesn't mean much since they use the same procedures, tools and machines the assembly line people use. It is just one person doing the job instead of several.

LS9 was "overbuilt" and is one tough mill.
They both have forged internals with the exception of the lack of titanium rods as in the LS9. The price difference between the two isn’t justified imho. I feel the low production #s drive the cost whereas the LT4 is a little more avail.

Last time I looked, you could buy an LT5 for about $19K. Of course the controls pack and front end accessories were not included . Add another $2-3K for that stuff.
