2016 C7 Corvette Corsa Exhaust difference
I have been reading many articles on this site, and still can't seem to get to the answers I am looking for.
First of all, I live in Canada (for emission laws)
I own a 2016 c7 corvette.
I am very interested in getting a Corsa exhaust system for my car.
Seems to be 2 different ways I can go.
PN 14768BLK 2.75" Axle-Back
http://corsaperformance.com/viewpart...68BLK&cfg=1789#
or
PN 14764BLK 2.75" Valve-Back
http://corsaperformance.com/viewpart...64BLK&cfg=1459
PLUS
you can get an X-PIPE
PN 14761 3.0" X-Pipe
http://corsaperformance.com/viewpart...14761&cfg=1465
I know some of these questions have probably been asked many times before (as I've read) but I still can't get to the bottom of it. Please bare with me.

From what I have read (please tell me if this is true), if I replace the X-PIPE, the cats removed with this install do not give any type of error to the car...correct? Like these CATS can be removed? And I believe, with these CATS disabled/removed, I am still in compliance with Canadian emission laws?
Second. Is there really much difference between the axle back and the valve back setup? If you choose to go with the axle back setup, does this setup just remove a different set of cats?
From what I have read, it seems like the combination X-PIPE with the valve back exhaust setup is the way to go?
Or is the X-PIPE combined with the axle back setup the way to go for maximum HP with the best sound?
I hope this isn't too garbled up for some of you to read. Enjoy reading the articles on this site.
Thanks for your help!
Cheers

I went xpipe and valve back. Loved it! But since upgraded to long tubes -- it looks like the axle back might eliminate the afm valves? Not sure... I'm assuming this would eliminate the need for cutting as well. The valve back I had to cut into the stock exhaust to have that pipe the axle back comes with.

It did require cutting so make sure your installer knows what they're doing. I had a hard time finding a shop that had done exhaust work on C7s so I finally went to a Corvette specialist. Don't want to pay someone to practice on your car! Good luck!
