Go to the below forum and explain your problem and ID shop that locked your ECM. Someone there will show you what to look for in the tune to verify the lock status when you return to shop A. Also may come up with alternative there. I am tied up all day.

Obviously do what you want but if it is me, I am not buying a new ECM without further effort.

I am back at tuner A (with the owner) and having him show me at the two below locations in the tune that he did not lock this ECM.

Tell him to look in the "Calibration Details" window on the "Controllers" tab and see if it says locked. Then, he needs to double click it to "Unlock" it. He may also want to check in his "Tools / Options" menu and see if "Tunerlock all Supported Files" is checked.

tuner A is well known on this fourm, and i am sure he read this already
and he still never offered to correct this, shop a and shop b are only miles apart, and car is at shop b still, if shop a dont care about his name or credibility thats his shame
