Yah man my brothers hellcat feels crazy fast for the weight and I will get a 1LZ or 2lz stage 1 aero just in tryin to see which one is faster in the 1/2 the M7 or A8 I no the A8 is faster from . A stand still but if the the A8 is faster from. A roll all the way up to 150+ or so then no reason not to get it
Do you no the 1/2 traps on the M7 vs the A8 also what stage aero is yours
Check out some of the 1/2 mile results from wannagofast event Hot Springs, VA 3700Ft elevation. Supercharge your C7 and Smoke the HellCat and Z06.
The only GM documented info I have seen shows the 0 to 60 times 2.5 tenths quicker with the A8 which shrinks to a tenth quicker by the end of the 1/4 mile. That would lead me to believe the M7 might be faster the longer the run. Of course the A8 would be more consistent with less driver error.
Can you imagine buying a vette though and not having twisties? It would be like marrying a supermodel you can't sleep with.
A drag race is fun, for all 12 seconds of it. I drove 3 hours in the sierras and nearly dehydrated myself. Just like I would if I was sleeping with a supermodel incidentally.
Just can't understand why anyone would want an automatic in a car like this. That said, folks don't really have much of a choice, since GM seems to be producing 95% of them with the auto.
Since every car is built to a dealer order it's the dealers that are ordering auto's. Must be a reaction to customer desires or the upcharge. (The numbers are probably closer to 60-40 but who's counting.)
If I were to buy a Z 06 it would be M7, My Stingray is A-8. Unless the OP is really really good there is no way he can do the 2-3 shift at WOT as fast as the A-8.
