Default Calling out Chuck "COW" tune users

I just received my autocal from Chuck "COW" after waiting 3 months from when I ordered and payed for it ( I was told 10 days). Very excited to get it all set up and sent off my stock files to Chuck last week & haven't heard anything from him. What is the normal turn around time for tune files? I was under the impression from my conversation with Chuck that it was just a couple day? Interested to here what other users experience has been?

Same here did the same here after to much time got my money back from my card and went diff way with a other vendor in here on a tune.

Look at giving the guy at Diablo a call that is where I got mine at. He is really fast and every thing he does is over emails. Robert

Oh boy, guess I'll be calling today and see what's up as I'm going supercharged and need my base tune set up before I even start my install.

Yes, you will be down for months if you go that way.

And if he says differently, then he can come on this thread with answers for us.

Default Cow tune

No issues here after seven email tunes and data logs, sometimes he does get a little busy and calling him directly seems to work. The car runs super with his tunes and COW booster. Well worth it!!! I'm Dave Hardwick Chuck, you did my 2008 Z06 and soon my 2016 w/auto and then we will do the 2012 Avalanche. Hope this helps buddy.

Same here. Booster makes a very noticeable difference. Once you get the hang of it, its simple. Turn around is usually a day or so.

Hey there. I have no idea who people are when you post on the forum because nobody uses their real name.

We also tell everyone that you MUST call us to notify me that you have sent tune files or datalogs in as

with the volume of e-mail we get it's difficult to catch every one.

Sadly, companies out there will not cease the never ending junk mail and spam they send out, so my junk filters

are set kinda high. When you send and e-mail with attachments (tunes or datalogs) they will occasionally

be caught by the spam filter and I never get to see them.

Let's start with your real name and give me a ring so I can search you out in my e-mail.

Typically with first time tune customers, I'll try to generate the tunes live on the phone with you if I'm not

in the middle of something big at the moment.

Please call me

Thank you very much!

Yes, I occasionally get overwhelmed and there's not enough time in the day to get to every tune.

The reason for that is simply because we have the BEST package available and it takes lots of time for

me to personally handle every single person....and we are VERY busy here.

If you've slipped thru the cracks, I am sorry... I'll do my best to fix it.

If you think that RAZZING me in public will get you done quicker....

The only thing you'll get from me is a car that runs backwards...

Let's all play nice and make your cars fun to drive!
Thanks again!

I'm putting on my blower, headers, alky kit, and then driving it on stock tune to the tuners.

Keeping the 1-bar map sensor in, and not going into boost, and it will be fine. There is a member here who drove 12 hours to his tuner after installing his kit, on the stock tune.

Thanks for stepping in Chuck. Sorry I was under the understanding to email the files to you and get a response that way. I will call you tomorrow and straighten it all out with you on the phone. You can look into your emails for chefcg1@yahoo.com. The name is Chuck Gardner, I am not afraid nor do I hide behind my user name. I look forward to working with you on my tunes!

Has great response from Chuck on my C5. He's great with the phone calls and will call you back. Using the CF PM function also works well. If it were not for my delays we would have been done in a matter of a day or two. No complaints here.

I'm good with it.... If these threads stay on track and civilized then I have to issue with them.

Too many forum users think they have to (or are entitled to) kick you in the ***** in public to get your attention.

I totally get that people get frustrated..... Kinda like when I sell a tuning package to someone that

does not know where the "start" menu is on windows or the guy I tell to "cut and paste" a tune file......

And the dude says "Give me a minute and I'll go get some scissors and glue...."

I like people to read these threads so that they know how things work and what to expect.

Anyone who has been on the phone with me when they need help, knows how far out of my way I go to help

them out....Even if their Corvettes problem is NOT tuning related.

I've said it 1,000 times on this form and I hope people remember it....

You know the old saying about putting "some sugar on top" and being sweet.... It goes a long way with me.

When I'm BUSY AS HELL and there is no end in sight to my day....and I've got 20 tunes to do.....but there is only enough

time to get 15 finished...... Which 15 of the 20 am I going to chose to finish...... and Which ones will have to wait till tomorrow????

Sugar tastes sweeter than Vinegar....

All good Chuck, trust me when i say I understand about being busy. I work an 80hr plus week. The purpose of the question was not to bash in the slightest, but to simply ask what others have experienced in turn around time. Its all about planning in my busy life and knowing is 90% of the battle especial when it comes to hobby related time. I look forward to speaking with you in the upcoming days and finally getting this project moving forward. I left a message for you this morning and I'm sure when you have time you will call me back. Now stop reading this thread and get back to work!!!

I'm still waiting on a call back for almost 3 months. I've called and left several messages. Got hung up on once. I've sent messages here on the forum and in emails. Been trying to get my car with a safe tune for almost 6 months.

I know how good Chucks Tunes are, I've had them in past Vettes. And I really want my Stingray to keep Chucks tune. But I've waited to long. Summers almost over, and I still cant take it to the track with peace of mind. I just want to know if I'm safe to go full throttle? Also I have a 3.8" pulley I want to put on. Then I'll have to retune for that.

VERY FRUSTRATED!

If it was me I would be look for a tuner in Memphis. You could be still wanting in 3 more months. To me he just has to much on his table. Robert
