I was wondering a base 1lt car was wired for heated seats? Meaning can you purchase the seat buttons and heated seats from and salvage c7 and do a plug and play swap?

I don't know the answer to your specific question, but when I replaced my Camaro SS driver seat with OEM Recaro seat, there was a warning that said if I have heated seats, I should replace both seats in order for the system's electric system to operate correctly. In short, you might need to install both driver and passenger.
You will need the seat bottom heating cooling module and the seat back heating module for both seats, the seat control module which controls the seat heaters (mounted to the passenger side seat frame), the HVAC control module with the seat control push buttons, some extra wires run from the underhood electrical center plus a couple of fuses, wires going to the passenger seat and from the passenger seat to the driver seat. You will also need the passenger side HVAC control display that lets the passenger turn on their heated seat. Here is a copy of the schematic:

Thank you for the info. Seems involved but definitely something that can be done.
Bill,
I'm retrofitting C7 seats into a 67 corvette and want to get all the functions of the seat to operate, motion, hvac, and bladders. Do you think its feasible to achieve this by wiring the seat up through the main connector located under the seat, or will external controls (normally equipped in a c7) located off the seat be required? The modules located under the seat are on my seats.

Another note...every wiring harness is custom to the specific car that it is made for. Anything you add will need additional wiring. Gone are the days of plug and play regardless of the trim level.
I installed heated seats in my C5 and a couple of daily drivers using aftermarket kits.
Could I just buy the OEM elements for these seats, run power from the fuse panel and use toggle switches to control them? Basically like aftermarket but with properly fitting elements. Has anyone done this?
thx.
