Grabbed rear tire on my auto 09 and rocked Corvette back and forth. I heard a noise under the car. When I grabbed the rim I also felt a knock.
Could this be the axle nut loose? Sorry, posted in wrong forum

I dont think your in the wrong forum.
It could be but not likely. Pretty easy to pull the tire off of double check its torqued.
We know from the C5 and C6 that GM has had some axle nut related issues in the past.
Rust on the surface of the hub and splines can cause a stick/release action and making a popping noise that can be felt through the wheel. Just torquing the lugs may not get rid of the noise. You need to remove the axle nut, push the axle in, and spray lubricant in the "inside surface" of the hub.

I found that spray lubricant or penetrating oil may not be heavy enough to keep the hub coated. I ended up just using a QTip to swab the surfaces with regular synthetic oil.
