When I use Pandora in my 2014, linking it to my cell phone, the volume is so low when compared to listening to Sirius. I have to crank the volume up almost all the way to listen to it. I have a Motorola Droid and even setting the volume high on the phone hasn't helped.
stupid question, but what is the volume on the phone itself? streaming from your phone requires both the phone and car volume to adjust. I always put my phone volume at max and use the car volume to my liking...
That's a good question. I did raise and lower the phone volume, but it made no difference. It would make a difference if connected with the 3mm mini phone plug. But - if connected via the 3mm plug you would have to operate Pandora directly on the phone.
The OP also stated changing his phone volume had no effect.
I do not use the cord, but I had the same issue. This worked on Android for me over BT. You must change the media volume to max on the phone. There are two ways, depending what Andriod version you have. In the Pandora app itself, use the volume up button till it goes to max. Will not work if you are not in the Pandora app. Other way is via settings, but not all Android versions have a separate media volume setting.
Also, some versions of Android now have a limit that will not permit you to turn the media volume to max. It is a phone Nanny! Rooted phones can have this wonderful Nanny feature turned off via Xposed.

Media Volume setting is the key! It needs to be at or above the "hearing damage warning" level when using Pandora through the car's info system.
