Rim size question?

Rim Size
i have Forgelines: 21" X 11" in the rear and 20" X 9" up front.
305's and 265's (tires).
For me, this requires a -1 degree camber.

You should also consider suspension height, camber of wheels and height/width of tires as important parameters. For instance, my 19x11.5" ET83 wheels with 305/30/19 tires do not rub, while the taller and wider 325/30/19 did rub at the track (but not at the street). Actually, I'd not go any taller than those, since they also barely clear the bumper side of fender liners.

thats not really apples to apples because a 325/30/19 is shorter than the factory tire. we just have problems trying to shove too wide of tires and it creates issues under load (The track guys that is) etc. 325/30 is about 1/2 tenth shorter than stock. I personally run a 295/30/20 on my street tires which is about 2/10s taller and I rubbed a very small amount (26.9x height) But on the flip side I can run a 305 pirelli at 27.33 tall with more camber and have very little issues.

They're not necessarily too wide, but the offset is wrong, and they will stick out.

Burning Brakes
take it from a guy ( me) that put wheels on my 2014 base car with the wrong offsets ! I busted out the rear inner fender lips and the quarters cracked all over , not much better luck in the front- it was cheaper to trade the car than fix it - not kidding, offsets mean a lot followed by tire size .

So for those of us that plan to replace our stock wheels is there a range of offsets we can use or should be stick with the stock offset, whatever that is. For example, I plan to replace the Black OEM 18/19" wheels/tires off my '17 when it arrives with 19/20". I know the tires I select will come into play but my objective is going as big as I can with clearance issues.

Below is a great setup:
18x10.5 ET56 (same offset as OEM) front
19x11.5 ET83 (a little more tucked in than OEM) rear.
OEM offsets (from my notes)
Front: 19-inch x 8.5-inch 56mm offset (with Z51)
Rear: 20-inch x 10-inch 79mm offset (with Z51)

For my base Stingray, how about 19 x 9.5 / 20 X 11 (Cray Brickyards)? I need to verify offsets. Since the Z51 cars come with 19/20 I should be ok I guess, as long as I use correct offsets and tires that is.

AFAIK, those Cray wheels are being manufactured specifically for Corvettes, so you need not fear.

Yeah, that is why I am leaning toward them; however, I guess I still need to consider the offset if I am going up, right? Again, my base Stingray comes with 18/19s and I want 19/20s and I see there are 2 Cray options: 19x9 or 19x9.5 / 20x10.5 or 20x11.

They show which ones are for front and rear in their fitment guide. Z51 and regular Stingray should be the same (which they indicate by C7 fitment).

On a side note I looked up what the cost of my stock 18/19 Black OEM wheels cost (2017 Stingray) and it appears they are between $500 & $600 - really!? Add in the tires and it seems that a set new would be about close to $3k but based on what I saw in the classifieds I'd be lucky to get half that.
