wow, I was just quoted 5K to have a DOD delete cam installed. Just a cam and tune nothing else.

So vendors could you please PM me a quote for for a DOD delete cam, install and tune? Im in El Paso, TX so NM, AZ and TX are options. Thanks.

That's what most people are charging, there's a lot of time in installing these, not your normal ls cam swap. I have a buddy here in Houston who runs his own shop on his land. He does great work and charges no where near big shop prices.

Cam install on LT1 is north of a 20 hr job, WITH a 2 post lift!

Yeah...you'll get more bang for your buck with a charger.
I think there was a forum vendor in Louisiana doing C7 A&A kits installed and tuned for $6K. LA is next to texas.

Thanks I checked it out and asked if it was 6k out the door. His thread had said the kit itself was over 6k so not sure if he is doing a really good sale or what. Im on the AZ border side of TX so it is still a good bit away but doable. Thanks.
