I know there are kits for a full conversion from steel rotor to ceramic set up. Does anyone know if it is more than just changing the rotors and brake pads?
If so, what else is involved in it.
GM has the ceramic rotors on sale now 44% off. $2900 down to $1600.
Thats one hell of a discount. I was thinking about getting all 4 now and figure out what else is required.

First, the most obvious issue is the rotor size would not work. The non CCB car has 14.6" front rotors, the CCB is 15.5, the caliper would not be positioned correctly to fit.
It would be nice if someone built a ceramic rotor that fits a z51 or base C7, without having to change everything else. I would be in line to buy one ... provided the price is reasonable.
