Fuel filter replacement schedule
How often do you change out the fuel filter? Didn't see it in the manual, I may need glasses,

I'm pretty sure the fuel filter for this car is inside the gas tank. Not something you would typically pull and replace every 20,000 or 30,000 miles..

labor alone would run $1000 to $1500 to drop fuel tank to get to it.

I change mine at the same intervals as I change the blinker fluid.

You use your blinker?
We're diesel truck people and this is my first car since the 80's. We change the oil every 5,000 and fuel filters every 10,000.

Most car companies, since about 15 years ago, don't consider fuel filter replacement a regular maintenance item......

My blinker fluid tank is leaking.
To drop the tank includes lots of labor. At that time is good to have the cash for a new clutch kit, and whatever else is on the way. We are talking 85,000~100,000+ miles. Knew a C6Z06 with 197,000 miles, no fuel problems.

I don't think you need glasses.
For Vettes, with Top Tier fuel, I have opened filters with 75K miles on them and the filters are clean.
For Benz AMG, I believe filters are on a maintenance schedule at 60K mileage...but it is an easier job typically.
So, for what it is worth, I wouldn't replace until a minimum of 100K, if at all, because of the labor difficulties and cost.
Good luck in your decisions.

Don't forget to have those muffler bearings checked on a regular basis.

Know what you mean - mine were in pretty poor shape last time I pulled 'em.

Did you not get the latest gm service bulletin?
You have to pack those bearings in high temp synthetic grease. The condition of those muffler bearings is your fault, not GM's....
I'd also bet you didn't use a muffler bearing friction modifier before track use either (a must for the NPP systems)
Winter is upon us, don't forget to switch to a lower freezing point Hid headlight fluid too....
