Default Header bolts

Hey guys so I just purchased Kooks Headers with the green cats. I couldn't fight the mod monster off anymore. Anyways I wanted to ask people who have installed headers on their C7 if they used special header bolts or reuse stock ones? I know there are a few companies that sell special header bolts. I want to know what other owners decided to do.

Thanks In Advance

My Kooks came with the stage 8 locking bolts and I used them, but without the locking retainer because they were too small to effectively hit the header tube. Seemed like really nice stainless bolts to use.

Studs for headers would be nice, helps to line up the headers and gasket and there is much less worry about cross-threading in the soft aluminum heads.

Had them on every motor build for the last 10 years plus. Plus never have had a leaking header ever from coming loose.

Never had any issues with using stock GM bolts on any of our headers. Never had them loosen on us.

ARH on a '16 Z06, used ARP 12 point stainless steel and ARP high temp anti-seize. The threads are so perfect I screwed them in with my fingers then torqued. No need to worry about cross threading and so far have not come loose.

I had one of the ARH supplied bolts back out. I replaced them with ARP header bolts with Loctite thread locker. Can't go wrong with ARP bolts.

ARH headers and reused the stock bolts. Cleaned off the factory loctite, little never-sieze, haven't had one back off yet.

Any place you recommend to purchase the studs?
