Default Bluetooth obd2 dongle falling off

I bought a Bluetooth dongle to hook up to a Garmin and my phone recently. I've noticed it will disconnect and usually fall at my feet. Anyone have this issue and come up with a solution other than rubber bands? Not only is it quasi dangerous, it ruins the flow of data.

I have one that came with the Garmin Virb and it is rock solid. I have to put force into disconnecting it.

i may end up trying that. I heated up the plastic and pressed it inward. We'll see if it retains its new shape

How do you like the Virb?

Any pics of where you mounted it?

Does this hook to the DTC port? If so, take velcro and only use 1 side. Stick it inside the plug you are pushing on to the DTC terminal. The extra thickness might be enough to keep the plug on to the DTC connector.
