I do not own a Corvette. If I buy a 2014 which I've read does not come with tow hooks. Is this something that can be installed the way the 2015-2017 have. Would it be bolt on or something welded ? stepping up to buy a 2015 isn't a option for me because of money and 2014 have the trusted A6. I'm going 2014 or used 2017 GS. No in between.

Yes you can also buy the plate like that can be welded are drill 2 holes and bolt it into place. If you get a 2014 that was made in 12/14 it comes with in on the car. Then go with the 2017 GS... Robert

I have a 2014 and have installed the rear receiver and hook and plan on doing the front here when it warms up. It isn't that big of a job, but takes patience. For the rear, the bottom part of the rear fascia needs to come off. I drilled it out and bolted it in no problem.
For the front, the nose will have to come off and a similar install process will be required. Directions come with installing it like the factory and making adjustments for a Z06 grill mounting to the side, or you could mount dead center if you want. Hoping to get this done in the next couple of weeks.
A car built Dec 2014 is a 2015 MY. Tow hooks were introduced mid model 2015 on the Z51

Did you buy the part from GM dealer ? I need the hooks so I can winch it on a trailer. I'm thinking just the front will be good. What do you think. I will do a wide body conversion to a 2014 or purchase a used Grand Sport. Only 2 inches of rear quarter panel clearance on both sides I think winching it up will be safer.
I actually ordered mine from ZL1Addons. I didn't find many alternatives. Once you receive (especially the front one) it looks like you could fabricate the receiver yourself relatively easily. After that you could probably use an OEM tow hook which is probably cheaper than the ones in these kits.
