Default TPMS service required...

Had the Z06 out all day, on the way home the service TPMS system comes on.
I lost tire psi read out on the front passenger tire. I pull off the road, check the pressure, its fine.
So, hopefully a bad sensor?
More concerning after the light came on and I verified good tire pressure I noticed the TC quite aggressively cutting in.
I wasn't taking a curve at break neck speed, just normal. Then I intentionally took a turn quickly and once again the TC came on again.
Let me just state, the TC has never come on in my car not even at the Pocono Track in PA. I really hope it has something to do with this whole service TPMS system crap!
Not happy. Another dealer trip.
Car was in touring, dry roads, cool engine temps.
Any ideas??

90% that its the sensor in the wheel. The TC is assuming you have a flat tire. The C6 would reduce power if it read 0 pressure in 4 tires; I'm not sure about the C7.

I have the same intermittent issue, and have had it checked 5 times, each time noting changes.

Sounds like a bad sensor. I have several sets of wheels/tires for my car and sold my oem wheels but kept the sensors incase one goes bad or the battery wears out. No reason to make a dealer trip if you don't have to. My greatest fear is having to take the car in and actually leaving it with a Chevrolet dealer.

Maybe a dumb question but did you check pressure with a gauge? Run flats can be deceiving even with zero psi.

I had the XX readings on both my fronts - the sensor batteries were done and were no longer communicating. I'd replace all 4 since the others sensor batteries are likely near the end of their life as well.

I've run no TPMS in my track wheels and the C7 is fine if ALL 4 are not working. I have TPMS in my other set of track wheels and had one go out intermittently and it was not happy at all with just 3 working, traction/stability control cutting in making it almost undriveable even in the track PTM modes. It appears to be set up for all or nothing.
