V4 - can you prevent?

I recall that maybe Sport or Track mode keeps the engine in V8.

Yes, No?

I don't have my 2016 any longer, getting a 2017 in 2 weeks.
Can't read the owners manual.

M7, V4 is only active in Eco mode. A8, it's active in all driving modes. You can turn it off with a tune (ex. Diablo handheld) or with Diablo's Sprint device (no tuning).

As Kracka noted active in all driver modes with A8. You can leave in manual mode, use a Range AFM disabler, or have it tuned. I drive mostly in manual although I do have a Range device that I rarely use.
