Screen Blackout help!!
Hello guys,
I had my 2015 c7 corvette for past 2.5 yrs. I had issues with my screen getting blacked out multiple times along that 2.5 yrs. I took it to the dealership about 3 times prior to this one (Dallas) . First two services they updated my radio and for the 3rd service they ended up replacing the screen.
Now i have 40k miles and its out of warranty. Past two days I've driven my car with blacked out screen. When i took it to the dealership in Austin, they told me i have to pay for diagnostic and if there is any problem with the navigation, the screen manufacturer will be responsible for the cost except the diagnostic fees.
This is what i think.
1) Although they serviced it 3 times its never fully fixed.
2) I do not understand why i have to pay for it now although the warranty is expired because chevy never completely fixed this screen issues...
Guys are there any simple tips you guys recommend that i can try at home? and what are the suggestions that you guys have regarding to my concern... it is really not fair to pay anything to those guys..
