Default Dry Sump Parts Differences?

Comparing the C7 Z51 Stingray to the base base C7, what engine and ancillary items external to the LT1 engine (Dry Sump) are included with the C7 Z51 that are not part of the base C7? (e.g., the oil tank, engine oil hoses, etc.) I am about to have a new GM LT1 engine replacement (don't ask) on my '16 Z51 Stingray. In the event of a catastrophic failure, it's been recommended that everything that deals with the engine oil should be replaced in addition to the engine to assure there are no particle remnants floating around that could damage the new engine. I would like to know what those (to be replaced) items are so that I may assure that they are in fact new replacements.

Thanks

If you are moving from a wet sump to a dry sump then you should know the wiring harness is different and you will need a resistor in the plug (oil level, oil temp, oil pressure are calculated vs measured differently wet vs dry) that goes into the wet sump oil pan and you will need to alter a couple things in the tune to accommodate. Can't just add the pan and tank and lines although it will run fine once you get it sorted.

No, because of a catastophic failure (rod through the side of the block), I am having a new engine replacement - old dry sump out, new dry sump long block in. I just want to be sure that when the engine is replaced, that all parts that had anything to do with the engine oil are replaced as well. I want to know there will be no residual particles from the original failure floating around in the new engine.

Make sure the trans fluid gets checked. The fluid siphons out when the cooler pipes are disconnected. Enough fluid id lost to cause a failure if not refilled.
