I forget, do these fit on '14 Z51 cars? Can't remember if they came with the receiver or not.
No you will have to buy the receiver also from them on the 2014 car. I had to do the same thing for my 2014 I do think this is the best made & looking piece out on the market for a tow hook.
I know what a lot will say on looks but it is a very nice piece..
Got my featherlite today and it is beautiful. I have a 2015 and now I notice there is no receiver. Can you post a pic of what you offer as a receiver?
z51 & GS with the z06 have the receivers the base don't have one in it. Plus when you put it in will really have to watch it for the hook to go thur because the others have a piece of the frill that come out to put the hook thur.
my concern is if one ever uses these, that the aluminum will deform where a chain is hooked to it, since its so soft. I feel like I'm better off getting the original instead of the feather light

Were the original version by ZL1ADDONS also aluminum D-rings? I know I've used that like 200 times to winch my car on and off the trailer without issue.

they don't describe them as aluminum, so I assume they are steel

The D ring with heime joint are forged steel The feather light are aluminum and all have chrome moly shafts black

The aluminum holds to over 10k lbs with no issue. the steel is over 30k and no issue. So you could hold the care up off the ground and not deform any of them.
