Has anyone installed the bullets on their c7 yet? I have read a bunch of going to but no follow ups yet. Would love to hear your opinions on the loud, old school muscle car sound it is known for. Thanks

i have B&B PRT on mine. They were just right til I added headers. Now with the 1st start up in the morning i'm sure all my neighbors hear it with in A block. When I do WOT it is insane.
I believe the bullets are way louder. If you plan on getting headers in the future you might
want something different.

I have the B&B Bullet paired with a Corsa Xtreme. I tried to find the loudest setup without changing the headers. Cold start is very loud and will wake up the neighbors. I love the backfiring / gurgling when cruising and sounds very mean once you get on it. The exhaust can be quiet'ish if you really try to keep the rpms down. There is some drone depending on the gear / rpm you're at, but I don't mind it all.
You won't be disappointed. Go for it!

Thanks guys, I think I am definitely going to pull the trigger. Can you be heard coming and going from far away with the bullets? Do you feel it has that old muscle car sound? Can you shoot a sound clip of it starting up? Would love to hear it. I appreciate it, thanks

I've been told it's going to be hard to get the same sound from the late
60's to early 70's because of the firing order. Not sure how true it is.
I'm not A ford person but listen to A built up mustang. There sound is way
Different than these newer Corvettes.

It's hard for me to vouch for the sound outside of the car, but my girlfriend says she can always hear my car a couple blocks away before I arrive.
At times it has the old muscle car sound (especially revving / cold start) and is very similar to my friend with a C5 Z06 w/ the Bullet, but at times it doesn't when it drones. I think it's probably the closest you'll get from the options out there w/o changing the headers or doing some straight pipe setup.
I'll see what I can do about getting a clip posted.
I had a set on my old GS with some Pfadt headers. A retired Air Force mechanic told me he had been in old planes less loud. Wide open sounded like someone was ripping a hole through time and space.
I'll post up some vids once I find. I know it's not the same engine, but it will give you an idea. Hope this gives you a good idea.(Edit: I can't get the embedding to work on my phone or my laptop, I'm at work so I don't have the time to figure out what is wrong, sorry about that.)
Crappy cell footage of me racing my buddy's '03 Z06:

i appreciate all the help and effort with the videos. I am definitely getting a better idea and I know I will never truly here the exact sound unless I hear it in person. Time to start looking for my bullets now. I already have the Borla X pipe and my baby is a Z06 so I am sure she should sound extremely bad *** and loud as puck. Lol I just want to be heard from blocks away without adding the headers just yet. Is that too much to ask for? Lol
Come on, who doesn't want to be heard before they are seen in an amazing muscle car? Lol. I just want to be heard the old fashion way. Not what I heard the other day. Sounded like a loud rice burner to turn around and it was a new camaro with a horrible high pitch sounding exhaust. That was a crime
I had a '12 SS with a big ole cam, headers and bullets. You could hear and feel me coming down the road. I do not miss the gas mileage but I do miss setting off car alarms in parking lots just from starting it up.
I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on B&B Bullets as I love loud as well. Has anyone installed a non NPP exhaust on a NPP car? Can I just zip tie the actuators out of the way?

Good to know there are others like me out there!
wow, I bet that car sounded bad ***. I think we are a dieing breed, lol.

Do a quick search. Seems a few people have done this.
Yea, I was a bit surprised honestly that everyone goes with Borla or Corsa on these forums honestly. The Bullets were really popular with previous generation vettes from my understanding and were even louder then. Enjoy!
We did a Bullet system on a C7 Z06 that had a set of ARH headers, our camshaft, and F1A Procharger conversion. There's a few drive-by/rev/idle clips in the video below.
Thank you for posting the video Dave. What would you compare the Bullet exhaust too with sound? What are your honest opinions on this exhaust? I have a 2017 Z06 with the Borla X pipe. I want to be heard but short of going with headers and or Cam. Just dont want to lose the warranty yet but will definitely do a cam after. Thanks again
