When I picked up my heads from Reher-Morrison, the conversation I had With Darin Morgan definitely aligned with the commentary here. Namely, polishing ports don't provide value (there's actually a new school of thought on this with "rough" ports"); valve jobs don't help; the LT1 heads don't flow as well as the LS3's; and velocity is more important than flow rate.

I'm happy with the head choice I made, but they are on the opposite spectrum of budget-friendly.
