PowerStop pads turning rotors brown

Color doesn't affect performance. Brakes aren't a cosmetic mod!

Agree however, the discs are very visible and look like sh*t. The first thing people say to me when they look at the car is "why are your brakes so rusty". Its not just the disc faces being discolored, it's the brown dust that's in the grooves, hub and on the wheel.

All modern pads leave deposits on the discs, that is the mechanism they work on. The deposits of the original pads are grey/black, the deposits of the power stop seem to be brown, but I doubt there are any pads with colourless deposits.
If the colour is an issue for a Driver, don't use the pads, in that regard I see this post as a good Piece of Information, although for me personally the colour doesn' t matter.

So I have the same browning problem on m7 2016 Z06. Replaced the original pads with RAYBESTOS Hybrids about 2 years back to reduce brake dust and noticed the dis-color. Whats the best way to clean the Rotors and bring them back to stainless steel gloss??

You can sand them but they will disclour again. It's the pad material adhering to the rotar.
