Default Muffler Delete on 2016 Stingray

Hello,

Curious if anyone else has done a muffler delete on a 2016 Stingray LT2 without any issues?

I did it on my 2008 a month ago but just traded it in on this 2016 and it's too quiet, even in track mode.

I'd like to remove only the mufflers and replace with a straight pipe with new tips. But just want to make sure this wouldn't involve removing anything important and wouldn't cause check engine light to come on?

Thanks!

Clint

I'll do just that. I see in the back of the mufflers on the outer exhaust tip there's an electronic baffle in there that opens and closes. If I did remove the mufflers I'm not sure what would happen disconnecting those.

Thanks!

Do a search a few guys in here has done it and from the sound clip they posted for a in town driving car sounds really good. Now for a over the road drive I know it would have drone foe sure on the road for a long trip in it.

If you want per say sound good do LT headers 3 inch mid pipe back cats delete with Corsa extreme on the car. Don't think that all of the above here with the only chg is the Borla ATKA will work for you it will not... ask me how I know that...Robert
