Default What headers do you prefer?

How's it going guys? Im new to this forum and Corvette's, I have had a couple of newer Camaro's and CtsV's and thought I would give a Corvette a shot. My question is what is everyone's headers of choice? ARH? TSP? KOOKS? Thanks for the input in advance.

Only way is LG are ARH headers. Just don't believe what the guys at KOOKS tell you at all. I got a set of 2 inch headers from them on one of the c5 builds. I was told that what I got was new design setup would not have to do nothing to the AC lines. Two days it burn a hole in the line I called them was told they may have sent me the old set up.

Yes I did call & gave # on box told me was good to go & that one tub was close but good. They wouldn't do nothing about it at all yes I got the headers from them new. It cost me over 400.00 to get a new line made up & AC rechged in the car. Robert

I just put a seat of KooK LT's 1 7/8 on my car a few weeks ago with green cats. I have had both ARH & Kooks. Honestly I was pleased with both don't think you can go wrong with anyone. The install for me was pretty easy,, just wished I would have just pulled the trigger on the offroad x-pipe.

I had a great experience with Kooks on my 09 Pontiac G8 GT and also went with Kooks on my C7. With that said, I wouldn't be opposed to ARH since I've heard great things about them.

Thank you for all the info guys, Do you think that TSP is a much cheaper product? I have been reading fitment issues with ARH, Kooks and TSP. I'm trying to justify spending almost double on ARH then going with TSP.

TSP are lower cost due to being made in China to TSP's specs. With that said, I've not read any bad things about them and can't really say that they are a cheaper product from a quality standpoint. I just had great luck with the Kooks on my G8 and felt comfortable going with them on my C7, plus they were the only ones offering the Green cats, at the time, which I wanted so that I could avoid tuning my car (which is a whole other topic)...

As mentioned above, the TSPs are cheaper because they are outsourced and not made in USA. Cheaper materials etc.

I can't speak personally, but the mechanic who installed my ARH 2" setup said they went in without any issues. They scream under WOT.

With the long tube headers no cats I know you need a tune.
My question is,when you say a tune do you mean a real tune, A/F ratio?
Or to shut off the CE light?

I have had them all, and installed AR long tubes and off road cats on a c6. Yesterday installed kooks long tubes and off road on my c7.....

Kooks fitment impressed the **** out of me.

Did install in five hours flat. Drive in to drive out. Counting eating a burger real fast.
