Does the LT1 share the same rocker as the LS7? It seems I read this somewhere?

Specifically, I wondering if the new Jesel pedestal mount rockers for the LS7 will fit the LT1.

I don't believe so, and those rockers are something like $3500, so don't see them really on anything besides the specific class they were designed to be used in for NHRA racing.

yes it shares the LS7 exhaust rocker only. Not the intake as it is offset in the LS7. Harland sharp confirmed this but said they didn't think they would clear the stock valve covers in an LT1

Just do the upgrade to the stock rocker arms man. That is all you need put money in a better place than this on the car. Plus you don't want the 1.8 rockers on this motor are the ls motor set up. It didn't work good at all. Robert

As Robert mentions, just do the trunnion upgrade. Thats all you need.
Under $200 including the tool to do the swap.
Comp. Cams has a nice all in one package.

It looks like the factory rockers are 1.8, but as mentioned, the intake isn't offset like the LS7 so not sure about this, despite Jesel "confirming" they do fit.

I'll call Jesel when I get a chance and get the 411.

Buddy I had a set Jesel rocker shafts on my c5 trick flow 245 heads RHS 427 motor with a F1X set on it. Due to the weight of the Jesel set up the car made more rwhp with the upgrade on the stock rockers.

Call BTR talk to Brian about the set up & ask him what he also uses on his race car set up. Yes I paid a lot of $$ on the Jesel set up sold them & went back to stock with up grade. Yes I made big power on the stock rockers. Robert

To be clear, these are not shaft-mounted rockers. They supposed to be a direct 1-to-1 replacement pedestal mount.

I've got aftermarket heads, ported by the best in the business. Titanium intakes, nickel exhaust. Would seem to be begging for a rocker upgrade.

Likely, I'll stay with with stock rockers but I am curious about these.

I know what you are talking about on them. For that much money with what the stock rockers can do. I really would just go with the upgrade on the stock set of rockers & call it a day on them.

Man who did your heads on the car plus who did you get the vavles from in them. Robert

Heads are from CID Heads. Ported and built by Darin Morgan at Reher-Morrison Racing Engines. Valves are Manley.

It was a bit serendipitous that I got these heads. I also had them modify an intake manifold for me.
