Oil priming Gen V LT1 engine ??
I am in process of putting my LT1 engine back together and i want to prime it before i try to start it. On LS engine you would do it by removing plug located on side of engine and run oil at 20psi or what ever.
Looking at side of LT1 engine, there is two plugs.. Are those there for priming? Which one is it ? Anyone know ??

Usually i would borrow pressurized preluber >>> SUM-CSUM9164
This time i used a J-45299 tool, which sucked since its manual and it took a while.
I was also not able to find a fitting which would fit in side of engine block as i pointed out in previous posts. So i ended up using EN-47971 Kent Moore tool which replaces oil filter and allows you to pressurize system from there.

BUT, the engine is still turning over without lubrication. Do many people do this? YES they do, but I would rather lubricate the entire engine then rotate it personally
