Not to hijack your thread, but I'm considering this same tire setup once the SC2's are used up. Figure a little extra sidewall will help fill up the wheel wells without having to lower the car. Have you had any trouble with these sizes while driving the car?
Thanks,
Mike

Hey Mike,
I have had good service from these tires/sizes. They don't rub on the street or the track. The car seems to like them, no funny traction control or other messages on the dash. They are good on the track with reasonable feedback when they are approaching limits. They don't have the ultimate corner grip of the Cup 2s, but that is what you would expect. On the street they are good as well, noticeably more comfortable than the cups. Drove them to Spring Mountain from SLC with comfort, low noise and stability. I have had my car set to track settings per manual and just drive it on the street like that, which other than the trip to Pahrump, I don't do a lot of. I am pleased with this set up. I carry a tire patch kit and inflator since they are non run-flat. Out here in the mountain west, the likelihood of getting a flat and limping 50 miles to a town with a replacement tire in stock and ability to mount it is sketchy at best.
They do fill up the wheel wells more than cups.

Pirelli P Zero Slicks
Started a new thread on C7 Tech/Performance forum with a bunch of data and pictures, and some comments. Sorry, I don't know how to put a link to it directly but it is :
"Pirelli P Zero Slicks......."
Bottom line is 18x11 with 315/680/18 front and 18x 12 with 325/705/18 rear fit nicely, no rubbing in any tight turn or bump on freeway in Tour mode. Turning transient response on those big front tires is impressive.
A couple weeks before I get back to the track but as of now it looks like it will work

I just posted a new thread about Pirelli P Zero slicks, MPSSs, and Cup 2s on this forum, with pictures, data, and some comments.
"Pirelli P Zero Slicks......" sorry, don't know how to post a link directly.
I have not had problem with the larger MPSSs. Occasionally on the freeway, they are my distance driving tires, in tour mode I will hit a bump and rub a rear tire slightly when car is loaded. I have taken those to the track also and in Track mode lightly loaded never had a clearance issue at all. They are pretty good at the track, but not as good as the Cup 2s.

Pirelli P Zero 315/680/18 on Forgeline 18x11 at the front
Haven't been to track with them yet, May 12th is next day. Will post up how they did. Not sure of the offsets. Got the wheels from Gerry at CW4L, and didn't ask what to do. I could probably could/should get the numbers from him so I know what I have

Should work fine, as long as your 18" wheels have close to stock offsets. I don't know, but will try to find out, the offsets of the Forgelines I got from CW4L, but the rear 18x12s could be a little wider toward the outside and still work with 325/705/18, a slightly wider wheel wouldn't change the overall section very much. At the front, the 315/680/18 on 18x11 rims don't seem to rub in any thing I can do with them on the street/parking lot. So the 305/660s should be fine.....again as long as you don't go crazy with changing offset. If you don't have 18" wheels yet, consider giving Gerry at CW4L a message. He is very responsive and the wheels he did for me do what I want. Paul
