As the title suggests I am looking for the deepest, least raspy sounding axle back system available. I have a 2017 Z51 with NPP and Borla X-pipe. I would like to keep the NPP functional if possible. I have found talking to various vendors very confusing. Even vendors that sell many different brands give conflicting recommendations.
Would anyone who is familiar with multiple systems please respond with what they believe to the deepest sounding systems they have heard. Please be specific as to brand and model. Thanks!
Really? You can't go to a local corvette meet and listen in person? You think that the little speakerss on your computer will give you an accurate representation of what they sound like?
Sorry. All of them sound different. What one person likes, others will hate.
If I had the money, I'd probably buy an Akrapovic. Outstandingly well made.
Also, I'm somewhat partial to the speedway tips, but that's a personal choice.
Roger that, had the B&B Fusion on my 2008 Z06 and now have them on my 2016 Stingray both cars had long tube headers. So that will make them louder. The Z06 when you started it open in the garage would rattle the cans of the shelves and set off car alarms in enclosed parking garages.

Fwiw, not everyone lives where there are car gatherings, let alone "corvette meet(s)." Hence, any recordings done under identical conditions would be a help, or at least far better than salespersons' banter, imho.
Akrapovic on my Z06 is intoxicating, thru the years I used everyone's exhaust, had 12 B&B exhausts on my 12 Escalade's, never wanted to spend the money for Akrapovic, did on my 17' and hope they offer a system for the ZR1, if you hear it you will have to have it.

Told ya..
Oh, and I'm sure there is some sort of Corvette club within a couple of hours of anywhere. If you're thinking of dropping a couple of grand on an exhaust, I know I'd make the effor to actually hear it first...

I have the same system as the red car in the video above, plus ARH mid-length headers with their high-flow cats. Sounds amazing and looks great too, with the custom black Speedway tips. If you want DEEP sound and full NPP functionality, you would be very pleased with B&B Fusion.
Everytime I hear the glorious sound of the Akrapovic Exhaust, I think, wow I should get one of those. ...Then I look up the price again and remind myself why there is no way in hell I am getting one of those.
I took a different approach and if you're in the Cincinnati area, you're welcome to meet up sometime to hear it. I kept the stock NPP mufflers but replaced all the stock junk between the engine and NPP by going with a long tube header/high flow cat system that does not throw a check engine light or require a tune. Absolutely love the sound...
