Default C7 ZO6 P0330 code running awfully

Hello Forum members.

Running my car through the mountains I had a sudden loss of power and a check engine light. The car breaks up bad when in boost. Can't get it anywhere near 5000 RPM. Seems to run perfect off boost.

Scanned the computer and got a P0330 which says it is a failure of bank 2 knock sensor. Would a knock sensor failure cause the car to stumble and loose so much power? I would assume with a knock sensor failure the car would pul maximum timing to save the engine. In that condition it would have reduced power but would not break up and run horribly at mid to full throttle.

Where is the bank 2 knock sensor located? I would like to check the connection.

What do you think?

Lastly what shop in the East Bay Area of California would you recommend?

Thanks folks!!

Sammy

Default Knock Sensor

"Where is the bank 2 knock sensor located? I would like to check the connection."

Service manual diagram shows it to be behind the starter on the right side of the engine.

What ended up being the cause of this?

The dealer reset the computer after finding nothing wrong. The computer was pulling 10 degrees of timing which is why the car felt low on power. They thought it might be a bad tank of gas (possibly 87). The night it happened I was on a spirited drive so to speak. On the throttle quite a bit.
