I completely agree, it is very labor intensive compared to the LS powered Corvette's. It was common practice to do a cam install in 10 hours including all the valvetrain upgrades on the C5/C6's. Now with the C7's the proper way of doing a cam install requires the LT engine to be removed completely.
Some people say they do it in the car now. But from my own experience, im totally with you. Pull the motor and do it right.

Finally tearing into my Z06.

LPE GT35 cam
TVS 2300 blower (revised)
CNC ported/polished heads
Upgraded injectors
Upgraded DI pump
Upgraded in-tank pump
Flex fuel - E85 (no meth needed with fuel upgrades)
American Racing long tube headers
GSpeed Stage Zero cooling system

This will be pretty robust as I track my car so peak numbers aren't the goal but everything under the curve

I do it in the car, but I think Iím still quite a few installs away from being able to do it in 10 hours as Ben says with the LS

Make no mistake, itís still a ton of work even ďsneakingĒ it as I do.

Agreed. IMO, if your that far into it, might as well pull the motor and do other supporting mods. Clutch anyone? Lol

Joe Cordes did my '16 Z06 too. I have a sweet thumpity-thump cam with Joe's custom grind. Procharger D1X, engine never left the car.

Sweet! Joe definitely knows how to build some wicked cars!! Your car sounds good, love that color and those rims too! When wife allows me Iíll be back for e-85, pistons and possibly a bigger blower! Depends on how much Iíll be able to get out the Ti-trim with e-85.
