I had the shudder on my 2016 Zo6 .Mine would shudder in auto or manual mode when accelerating from a constant speed. I carried it to the dealer and they did the triple flush on the transmission fluid. They told me to put about 300 miles on the car and see if I noticed a difference, if not, a new torque converter would be installed. I have about 350 miles on the car since doing the triple flush and the shudder is gone for now. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this works as I don't want my car 's back half taken apart.

Thanks for the info. The Corvette Racing guys told me that the 2015-16 had torque converter issues, but it was fixed in the late 2016 production.
Mine is 100% the AFM. Once I shift into manual or engage the AFM disabler it smooths right out.
Returned my AFM Disabler and reordered directly from Range. Seems as though, noting comments above, that this was a bug in the previous firmware. The newest up-to-date version is due tomorrow.
Will let everyone know if it fixed the problem.
Disappointed that I still have not heard from Range tech support.
The easiest way to contact Range is go on to their website and use the live chat, that gives you someone live. They don't always answer their email quickly. The live chat has always gotten me results with them.

Thanks! Yes, I actually attempted a chat first. They truncated it into an email discussion. Recently did hear back from them and they confirmed that my firmware version was the problem.
Have since received the new disabler and so far it is working well.

I actually called range technology today on the telephone and talk with a young lady.
The connection was pretty bad and she asked me why I was calling and I told her I wanted to order a Range technology AFM. Sounded like she was about 18.
Just an order taker and shy, but nice.
Not overly enthused at this point with the business.
I asked her name 3 times and even asked her to spell it.
Couldn't understand anything.....mabe it's my new Galaxy Note 8.......
Anyhow.....Will keep all posted on results of use in my 2017, Z-51 A8.
