Does anyone have a link or instructions for removal of the windshield header trim (the part that surrounds the interior rearview mirror) and the mirror itself (if needed)?
Did a forum search but for some reason the info I was looking for wasn't coming up.
I'm running a dedicated wire to power a dashcam and detector, and I'm going to hide some connectors and wiring under that center trim.
I thought it just pulled straight down, but instead of just popping free, it's just flexing/stressing to a disturbing degree, so I want to make sure I'm not missing something before I go all superhero on that piece of plastic.
you will find 1 screw under each of visor lock tabs ans then more under the visor swing arm. the mirror then needs to be twisted to come down and unplugged. after that it is just clips you can yank down on it.
