Default MAGNETIC RIDE CONTROL/wheels

Can the 18" front and 19" rear wheels be installed on a C7 (2016) that has MAGNETIC SELECTIVE RIDE CONTROL?

MRC doesn’t care what wheels you have as long as they clear the brakes, and the tire diameter is within 4% of stock.

To add to that, the base 18 and 19 inch wheels will not clear the stock front brake pads. I highly doubt OP has non-stock pads.

I’m told the split spoke 18/19’s will fit. I understand some folks use them on the Z51 to get a better choice of tires for autocross.

Ah you're right, what was I thinking, I just posted a thread of this exact same topic. Here are the details:

18" wheel will fit front Z51 calipers and stock pads if you move the wheel weights to the inside of the wheel.
18" wheel will fit front z51 calipers and non stock pads without having to move the weights. That's what I have.

Not sure you can make a blanket statement about non stock pads. The pads can change depending on the manufacturer. There are slight differences in backing plates they can choose and then you have the problem of where they place the braking compound on the backing plate. I have had 3 different pads made to fit the same caliper and none of them were identical. Close to each other but still different and all will work in the caliper.

do any aftermarket pads have the noise dampeners? Because that is what would rub. 1/4" gap to wheel weights from caliper body otherwise.

Default Stingray with optional Magnetic ride

So I'm assuming that my 2016 2T Stingray with the optional Magnetic suspension (comes with 19"/20" wheels), but standard brakes, should not be a problem for 18"/19". There appears to be an inch of clearance between the calipers and the (19"/20") weights.

I run 18/19 oem wheels with Pirelli Sottozero winter setup on my Z51 with Mag shocks and stock pads. I had to relocate the inner wheel weights (on the 18's)to closer to the outside of the rim. The wheels clear the oem brake pads, the wheel weights will not.

I run the same type wheel with NT-01 for the track with PFC pads and DBA rotors. Not issue with wheel weights with these pads.
