I would like to determine how many were built that have the exact same packages, options, color, etc. as my 2016. In other words, I want to know how many of my EXACT car were produced. I have used the museum website, my build sheet and other methods to help but what other ways that I can narrow the numbers down further to find out what I want to know ?
It does seem a little strange that in this day and age when everything is entered into computers, that this data is not released to the public. I'm sure GM can easily figure out this type of info, it's just that they don't want to share it with us for some odd reason. There could very easily be a searchable database where one could narrow things down to find out how unique there own car is. For instance, I bet if I could search for mine I would find my car is just one of less than five 2018 Torch Red 1LT Stingrays that have a gray interior.

That is exactly what I was thinking. I did e mail the archives section at the Corvette Museum (Betty) and she said for $25 they have a way to do it but I am not sure exactly how far they can narrow it down. I will call her on Monday and find out just what they can do and I will comment on it here. The museum website does have production numbers on color combinations and quite a few other things but it does not go into all of the options etc.
Betty at the NCM did this for me (I am a life member) for the $25. I have documentation from NCM that in fact, my 2016 Z51 Long Beach Red Stingray is "one of a kind"! The only one with exactly the same options and colors that I have.
I paid the $25 to the NCM and Betty (who was very helpful) researched my 2016 with 1,300 miles and determined that my car is "one of one". It is the only 2016 Stingray with all of the exact same options and equipment as mine. To me that was well worth $25.
