Default C7 LineLock

I have a 2016 Z06. I just got and installed a RSD line lock, it works but when I use it the dash says "service Stabiltrak" and then the traction control no longer works. I can not put it in any of the Track modes. It will not go into these modes. I want to burn out my tires then got to track mode 2 or race mode and no can do. Traction control stays off. To get it to work again I have to turn off car and wait till it powers down then restart car an it will work. Does any one know how to solve this issue?

If it was me I would be calling RSD to ask them what is going on with this unit. That is if you bought it new & also for the c7.. Also if you didn't I would still call them & see if they can tell you something.

I am sure they have done R&D on the linelock for the c7. Robert

This is obvious but ill say it to make sure. You are putting it into competition mode (turning all traction control OFF) before doing your burnout right? If not, the car is prob going crazy wondering what's going on.

I put car in sport mode and turn off traction control. Then get light saying Service Stabilltrak.

I just checked out their kit and it’s mechanical only so you need to use competition mode.

I guess when u say competition mode, u mean sport mode with no traction control. I need to use it in the different Track modes. I need traction control to work for the street.

So I assume you aren’t going to be using the launch control mode with line lock but here are the directions anyways:
The way the car was launched was the following:
Put the car in Track mode.
Hit the button once to turn off traction control.
Hit the button again it again to bring up the "Performance Traction management".
Scrolled till the select "RACE" mode
then
Hit the brake.
Floored gas pedal
Car boosted to 1800rpm for A8
Let off brake when green light and hold on.

If I were using line lock, I’d just disable all the traction control modules while staged and then flip it back on as soon as you release the line lock, should prevent the errors. That’s the press and hold the Traction control button for five seconds. Everything turns off.

Let us know how it works out.
