I have a 2015 Z51 with 1300 miles and when i got it in 2016 I added a halltech intake and granatelli wires car ran great. So over this past winter i added a borla midpipe without the cats and a katech p&p tb. Started the car all fine. So the other day i go to take the car to get inspected and a few minutes into the ride i get a flashing check engine light with service stabilitrack and service rear differential car is running super rough. I turn around and check the codes with my blue driver and it shows a P0300 code. So i check all the wires every one is on good. so recheck the codes and now getting a P0300 and P16a1 so i change the tb back to stock and still get the same codes. HELP!!! is there a better code reader to help me narrow down where the misfires are coming from?
I know with HP tuners you can see the number of misfires per cylinder so if you see once accumulating misfires much higher than normal you can pinpoint it. If the wires are good then check the plugs. A cracked plug will cause the same issue.
