I tried using the search function, however do any of you have the full length headers from Texas Speed? I have a Z06 and was wondering what you guys thought of it. Side note: I installed some on a C6ZR1 and was kinda impressed on the fitment and quality on the C6. Just wanted your thoughts on the C7 fitment.

I haven't got any,but what I have seen while researching which setup to go with is that these are true full length headers & produce great #'s,but have fitment issues with the pan. They offer a custom pan to make this a bolt on fix for an xtra $100.
I have seen the whole setup(headers,x pipe & pan listed for just under $1,000).
The bad part is it's produced in china.

A number of posts on this. Headers fit, catted x pipe hit their plate, needed spacers. Anticipate needing extra spacers if you're catted.

I installed these on my Z06 this past winter. the reason I bought them was that they made good numbers. here are the issues I ran into-----
while installing the x pipe I hag to cargo strap the headers to bring them closer together so the x pipe would slide on.
I bought the catted x pipe and installed the spacers on the tunnel pan, no help the pan still made contact with the exhaust.
complained to tsp and they sent me their pan and now nothing makes contact with the exhaust
while installing the O2 sensors, I had to dremel inside the bung. the sleeve that gets welded on covered about half the hole up so it needed to be cut away
the plus side is their customer service is good. the down side is the fitment issues. the overall quality of the pieces is pretty good with a few minor quality escapements. I would buy and install them again. do yourself a favor though and get their pan. it will eliminate a lot of headaches

I had them on my C7 Z51. Their belly pan hit the header on the driver's side but that was an issue on the installers part. In 5 mins, he got it fixed. I made 40 rwhp with the LT's and knn cai.

I just bought them for my C7 Z06 and will be getting them installed soon. As far as being made in China, ****, everything else on this car is made there too, so I don't think the headers are that big of a deal. Beats spending $2k on a part that will never get seen anyway, imo!

Thanks for all the response guys! I think I'm going to try the headers out and see what they do.

I have heard the fitment issues on "some" of the batches....if you are getting them installed by a shop they are aware of this and will tack on additional labor IF they are not in spec to adjust them. Or you maybe will get lucky and get a good set...who knows. You won't have this issue with the top tier brands but you will have the additional cost

GeorgeR_Zed06,

Did you make 40 hp just with bolting on headers and knn cai without a tune? Or did you have to have it tuned to get the 40 hp?

I installed them two weeks ago. They fit well enough. I had to use a pry bar to move over one of the secondary pipes to get the x pipe to fit up. Was 1/4" off or so, nothing crazy.

I have their extended pan, but it wouldn't clear without spacers. Needed .5" of spacers on the first 6 bolts to clear the cats and .25" on the rest.

They made 18 whp untuned over baseline. (baseline was with K&N intake)

Tuned on 93 they made about 40 whp more. On e85 picked up about 70 whp.

I have a set being delivered tomorrow. 1-7/8" with catless x-pipe. Several mods will be going on at the same time though so even though I'll have before and after dyno's, it won't be for just the headers though. Hoping that by going without cats and the smaller 1 7/8" the clearance/fit will be better.

I still needed spacers on their plate to clear the catless x pipe

Did it come with the "spacers" needed or did you have to rig something with washers or...?

Pretty much without tune because my car made 444 whp and 457 tq. After tune, best he could get was 447 whp and 460 tq.
