Default Brake Calipers

Will the C7 Z06 calipers bolt up to a C6Z06? Thanks.

The C6Z06 Z07 and C6 ZR1 came with ceramic brakes. The front rotors for both of those cars are interchangeable with the C7 Z06 Z07 rotors. The only difference between the two is the C7Z has a hole in the rotor hat for a screw that holds the rotor to the hub. The screw isn't necessary so the hole isn't necessary. If the rotor fits that pretty much means the C7Z ceramic brake front calipers will fit as well. The rear isn't as clear cut as the brake pads are different between the two models and a trial fit would be required. I can think of one thing that could be an issue. The C6 has rear tie rod ends that might be too close to the rotor if you tried putting the C7Z calipers on the car. The C7Z has a different set up and has toe links Vs tie rods.
