Default Oil change??

I purchased a new C-7 Grand Sport, last spring, but only put 127 miles on it, before winter storage, [ cover, battery tender, etc. ] Question is , after sitting all winter, is it OK, to drive, until 500 miles , for dealer first oil change?

Poor neglected car is begging to be driven. Definitely OK to drive, nothing "happened" to the oil while it sat around in the garage.

Absolutely. Oil would take a much longer time to break down especially seeing only 127 miles.

Does the warranty matter to you? If yes, then you should change the oil as indicated by the oil life monitor.

Makes me wonder why anyone would buy a new car knowing they could not drive it until after winter.. Remember, that the reason for the 500 mile oil change is because the off gas from the curing of the silicone used during assembly can deplete the anti-foam agents in the oil.. If you are not driving the car hard enough to worry about foaming, then you can wait until the 500 mile mark.
