i have order two rear Muffler with afm Actuators.
Here I have read that this wiring would be right.
Pin
1:Ground
2:Ground
3:Feedback open
4:12V
Is that so correct?
If I wiring this so, the actuoator will just make a step about 2mm.
If I Pull pin 2 to ground and not and again. the motor will drive to open.

How can I Force the motor to drive to close?
Thanks for help
I don't believe you can accomplish what you are trying to do. The valves cannot be controlled by simply applying power and ground to the correct pins. The actuators require a VERY specific PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal to them to operate. If the signal it receives is outside of the expected parameters, it will freak out the actuator and lock itself open and will never reset itself, basically toasting the actuator entirely. If you want to add NPP to a non NPP C7, buy the controller kit from Akropovic. Its not cheap, but it does work.

I try to run the AFM Valve.
I will fit the C7 Muffler with NPP under my Pontiac G8 with NPP.
Here is the Wiring Diagram what i have found
Here I have read that I just connect 4 Wirres LINK
What is now right.. Simple Ground or PWM signal to close the AFM.
Can somebody tell me what the right PWM frequenz..
Thanks
The AFM actuators are the same type of actuator as the NPP actuators. The below thread will have more info on a retrofit and I can assure there there are no other threads on the forum with more info than it lol. Theta, who previously did all the work to figure this out, has not been on the forum for some time so you cannot contact him.
Thanks for the fast help.
I have rebuild a Control with Arduino Mega and no C7 NPP Retrofit PCB. Just Some parts for around 10$ and Software YOUTUBE
I have kill one Actuator at Rebuilding
If Somebody is selling one, I will buy it.
Thanks
i have an actuator from the eco mode that I am not using that I think is the same. I am also trying to do what you did. Can you elaborate on the parts and software? Thanks!
@g8germany - That's awesome! Could you explain what parts you used with the Arduino to get this working? What signal did you end up feeding the device? Thanks in advance
