Default Cam Phasing
Aftermarket cams are requiring reduction of the cam phasing range. From over 60 degrees to less than 25.

What at are the compromises? Charts? Diagrams?

We lock almost 100% of our cams.

Lock as in remove any phasing at all?

Locking the cam removes all capability of using variable valve timing. Personally I would recommend against locking the cam. Why would you even want to remove VVT when it can modulate valve timing for greater performance..
