I've read a lot of threads about tapping into the 12V sockets in the cabin. Obviously we have 2 sockets in the C7, one under the lid of the console and one on top of the console towards the front.
Does anyone know if these 2 sockets are run from the same fuse? My front one is dead, but the one under the lid of the console works just fine.
I did have some warranty work done last year to adjust the shifter position (7-sp manual) and hadn't had cause to use this socket until yesterday when I found it to be dead. I'm hoping they may have forgotten to reconnect it after having the shifter in pieces...

I would check to see if they plugged it in. It would have been disconnected to do the shifter adjustment. The fuse for it is in the trunk. I used it for the add a fuse for my radar detector.
The two power receptacles are on different fuses. The front "lighter plug" is switched, only on when in run or accessory mode. The rear is hot all the time.
2014 rear fuse block:
FUSES:
22 Rear Accessory Power Outlet
37 Front Accessory Power Outlet
RELAY:
R4 Front Accessory Power Outlet
Double check your owner's manual for your fuse and relay numbers.
My 2014 has 2 front cigarette sockets and 1 rear. The front sockets, top front of console & the socket inside of the console are on the same fuse. The rear socket is hot full time for the battery connection for the battery maintainer. The front 2 sockets are on the same fuse and power down when the RAP power drops off. Later years did not have as many sockets as the 2014. Since the OP mentioned the 2 front, I thought it was a 2014.
