My 2014 was at a dealer for transmission repair and it looks like they missed something when reassembling because the moment I tried to reverse out of the dealer lot the display read "service rear vision system" and there's no rear camera display....long story why it was getting serviced here but this GM dealer is in a rural place a far drive from me so I could only pick it up on a Saturday when they were closed, so I took a picture of the display but couldn't show the service techs in real time.
I'll need to ask a local dealer to fix it next week and will try to get the rural dealer to reimburse the charge but who knows if they will.
Does anyone have any idea how much labour or cost it is approximately to replace the rear camera? Hoping it's not something crazy.
This stingray has had it's fair share of problems (under warranty so far), new transmission last summer and transmission repair this summer (both times at the same rural dealer).
